~Finally~

Dylan holding his tooth
Nice bloody hole in his mouth
My little boy is growing up
It FINALLY happened! Dylan lost his first tooth!! About 3 weeks ago we noticed that he had a permanent tooth growing in behind his baby teeth, and nothing felt loose! I took him to the dentist and they took some x-rays, and said that it was fine and that his tooth was moving a little, that he just had to keep wiggling it. Sure enough it got looser and looser. Today while I was getting ready for the day, he came running in with a mouth full of blood, and his tooth was barely holding on. It was disgusting! He had gotten it caught on a string when he was playing with Ryan. So we jumped in the car and drove down to see Chuck. Dylan was so scared it was going to hurt he wouldn't let us pull it out. We bribed him all day long. FINALLY, while Chuck was brushing & flossing his teeth, Dylan was throwing the BIGGEST fit, so Chuck flossed it right out of his mouth. Dylan screamed and then came running in to show me. He was so EXCITED!! I asked him if it hurt and he said "not really"! All I could say was " see"! Hopefully we don't have to go through all of the fit throwing when his next tooth is ready to fall out, which by the way the one right next to it is wiggling pretty good. Now here comes the TOOTH FAIRY!!!!!

Congrats Dylan..The samething Happened to Austin he had a tooth coming in behind his baby tooth and billy pulled the trick saying the Dentist showed him how to take his tooth out and Austin let him and didn't even cry. Then two days later he lost the one next to it too.Yes they are growing up and too fast.

Was he excited when the tooth fairy came? Ryan is so stinkin cute! One question though, is he wearing anything at all in that picture? Very cute!

that tooth was topic of great conversation in class! I think Dylan is the first to lose one, and he was so macho about it! Yay!
