Ryan is such an amazing little boy, and he has overcome so many challenges these first 3 years of life. He is so strong, and I watching him grow! He is such a fun, happy, and energetic little boy! He loves sports, especially baseball, and he also loves to play with his big brother! He loves boxing, and thinks that play fighting is so cool! I am so lucky to be his Mommy!

Ryan is POTTY TRAINED!!!
I am so excited about it too!! I was so nervous about potty training him because he wanted nothing to do with it. I did my best to prepare him for the change. We went to the store together ad he got to pick out some new Big Boy underwear, and we got 3 packs because I thought we would be going through ALL of them everyday for the first few WEEKS! I had the day set to when we were going to start, Monday July 13th. On the Saturday before (July 11) he saw me folding his new underwear, and he wanted to wear them. I let him! I thought he would want them off as soon as he peed his pants. I kept asking him if he needed to go potty. Dylan asked if he could play the Wii and I said yes, so Ryan ran and got his controller, I tried to get him to go potty first and he refused, great! 2 minutes into the game, I'm feeding Millie, and Ryan takes off down the hall and comes running back with his little potty chair, and sits on it. I ask him if he needs to go potty and he says YES!!! It was awesome he totally took himself potty! The best part about it was that he sat down without pulling his new underwear down!! I was cracking up!! He ended up having 2 accidents that day and before bed he POOPED in his potty chair!! Everyday after that has been great, 1 or 2 accidents. Since then he rarely has any accidents and he has been able to hold it all night now too!

I love going to the coast! Yesterday we drove over and spent the day playing on the beach, it was beautiful, and the weather was perfect! Dylan and Ryan love to run and play in the water, and they had a lot of fun digging holes in the sand. Dylan attempted a sand castle too:-) Millie sat on the blanket with me and had a blast shoveling handfuls of sand in her mouth, Yum!! It was a great day that ended even better with a special treat from Dairy Queen!! Thanks Heidi and Tyler for letting us tag along:-)
